What is developed?

It is our goal to spread the joy for music and to find the musical abilities of children in their early years. Current studies show that the usage of drums benefits concentration, coordination, creative intelligence and social behaviour lastingly.

A drum has the crucial advantage that one does not need any precognition to play it. After only a few minutes the first sense of achievement occur and even a little child is able to play a couple different rhythms quickly. The most important policy is that there is no right or wrong. Every realization is accepted at first and then slowly guided later on. In concret terms this means that it is not important for a child to be able to play a rhythm immediately. After a couple of tries he or she will want to and be capable to hold the beat. In the beginning it is more important to discover the new instrument and to recognize the different sounds coming out of it. Like Maria Montessori said „Help me to find it out myself!“ parents are going to be able see their youngsters come up with their own rhythms, sing loudly and experience a lot of fun doing music.



And that is our main objective: Fun!

With our music furniture we do not want kids to play rhythms according to the book. We want our furniture to be an open door into the world of music so that the children want to experience music more. With the CD we send with all our furniture, topics from childrens every day life are given so that children learn in a playful way. There are enough suggestions given to help and assist the kids in coming up with their own ideas. Kids are not overstressed – instead their imagination, creativity, independence, concentration and fine- and gross motor skills are benefited.

We send free stickers to mark the different sounds with every drumchair and every drumstool. With the help of the stickers young children are able to learn were to hit the bass and snare. In addition to the stickers we send a free drum learning manual. It consists of different music sheets developed by music teachers especially for this instrument. This manual enables kids to learn how to drum quickly. There are a few famous children songs in it, too, so that the kids can sing along while they drum.
